Lita was first recognized as a sailor in the first episode of the Rainbow Crystals bit. She was a transfer student from another school and her old rep quickly caught up with her at her new school (nickname: Martial Arts Psycopath). There Serena introduced herself (actually, she begged Lita for her muffins) and they quickly became friends. Later on, she chased around this guy (he looked like her old boyfriend) and was quickly tracked down by Zoisite. The guy turned into a monster and Luna told Lita to transform into Sailor Jupiter with the new stick she gave her. Lita was a little dumbfounded by the fact that there was a cat talking to her, but who wouldn't be. She proved to be a big success.
