Sailor Pluto is the sailor senshi that guards the gate of time. In Sailor Moon R, she first appeared. It was then that she mistakened Sailor Moon for a trespassor and tried to kill her, but Rini came to the rescue and saved her. Sailor Pluto is the one who let the sailor senshi into the future to stop the NegaMoon and save the future of Crystal Tokyo.

Since Sailor Pluto does not like to interfere with the future, she doesn't like to persue in combat. She knows everything that happens in the future and she does not want to mess it up.

The most mysterious and forbidden of her powers is the one in which she can use to stop time. If she uses it, she will be banned from existence for a very long time. In Sailor Moon S, she actually uses it and she faces the consequences. She later reappears in Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.

Sailor Pluto is the one who sent Rini into the past to be trained to become Sailor Chibimoon and is also the voice of the Luna ball.
