Mina was the first of the Sailors. At the time though, she was in England and known as Sailor V. There she basically did the same thing that she does in Japan. While she was over there she had her very own comic book and a multiple amount of shows named after her. Yup, she was the country's hero. Her guardien cat is Artemis and he has to train her to make sure that she stays in line and does everything that she is supposed to. Turns out, she was also on the lookout for the Moon Princess. To protect the yet-to-be-known princess, Sailor V had to pretend to be the Moon Princess that she and the evil people were looking for. Her suit was well in attire for disguising as the princess; she had crescent moons all over her. (venus crescent beam). Eventually, she had to leave England and find the sailor scouts and the princess she was looking for. She found them just in time and saved all four sailor scouts' butts. Sailor Venus is also the leader of the four inner scouts (mercury, mars, venus, jupiter).
