Skullsatamon smiled at us as we started running for our lives.
Suddenly, he appeared before us.
"Just give me the girl and the fox and you'll live."
"No way!" Tai and Izzy exclaimed at the same time.
"But you guys-" I started as Skullsatamon started laughing.
"Fine, I'll kill you two off and then take the girl!"
"Wait!! Don't kill anybody!! I'll come, I'll come!!" I screamed over everyone.
"No you won't!" Tai exclaimed taking my arm.
"Yeah!" Izzy and Foxinmon agreed standing behind me.
"I-I-I-Look, it's-" I started when my stupid tag started glowing agian.
Everyone, even Skullsatamon turned around to the shattered wall. A bunch of the pieces came together and formed a small crest with the emblem of Joy on it. It started floating towards me, but before it made it, Skullsatamon snatched it.
"NO!" all of us screamed.
"Come with me or I'll destroy your crest!" Skullsatamon said with a laugh.
"Rebecca, your life isn't worth that crest." Izzy stated standing beside me.
"Yeah, I don't mind not digivolving." Foxinmon stated flying right beside my head.
"Fools!" Skullsatamon exclaimed and extended his staff towards Foxinmon and me. We were engulfed in a red bubble and floated towards him.
"Wha-" I whispered poking at it.
"NO!" Tai exclaimed.
"No one catches Foxinmon that easily! Lightning Strike!" she yelled, sending her attack at the bubble. It only bounced off the sides and hit one of her tails.
"Um...don't try anything like that again, Foxinmon." I stated helping nurse her tail.
We slowly floated up to Skullsatamon. As soon as we were by him, everything got black and and we were transported somewhere unknown.
The cave disappeared and all the other digi-destined reunited with one another. Everyone asked what happened. Izzy and Tai explained it to the others.
"But where did they go?" T.K. asked.
"I'm not sure. They could be anywhere!" Tai exclaimed.
"I know exactly where they are." Izzy stated.
"HOW?!" everyone asked together.
"I'm using the reading that is being emitted by her digivice. I have an exact point of where she is."
"Great, where is she?" Matt asked.
"Approximately 100 miles from here."
"WHAT?!" everyone yelled.
"That'll take days!" Joe exclaimed hopelessly. "Who knows what they'll do to her!" Sora added.
"I could digivolve into Birdramon and take you and a few others, Sora." Biyomon offered.
"And I could digivolve into Kabuterimon and carry a few people." Tentomon added.
"Then what are we waiting for, let's go save Becca!" Tai exclaimed couragously.
'I just hope she's all right.' Izzy thought quietly.
Foxinmon put her feet around my waist and arms around my neck as we landed in a very dark palace. There was only very soft candle light from the few floating candles around us. It reminded me of an old castle.
"This place is creepy." Foxinmon whispered in my ear.
Suddenly I saw the light of my crest leap from Skullsatamon's hand. He was bowing before a throne, I think. I could now only make out two red eyes.
"Here it is, my Queen, the Crest of Joy." Skullsatamon stated as he put my now no longer glowing crest in her hand.
"Yes, I can feel the power! Good job, Skullsatamon! Your service will not be forgotten. Now go, go and let me be with our guest." a thundering voice ordered. I saw Foxinmon's ears go down at the sound of it.
Skullsatamon disappeared in a flash of fire and it was only Foxinmon, that weirdo red-eyed lady, and me.
"Come in, Digi-destined of Joy, come in. Make yourself cozy." the voice coaxed now in a warm tone.
"No thanks, we'll stand." I stated rather smugly as I walked up.
"Now, is that any way to treat your hostess?" the voice asked, her red eyes glowing like fire.
"I'm not afraid of you, whoevermon you are. So, why don't you give me my crest so I can get out of here."
"Ha, I'm afraid your crest is Joy, not courage."
"I don't care if my crest is Moroness, give it to me!" I exclaimed as Foxinmon jumped down beside me.
The lady only laughed. "You have much spirit, much potential. Let me give you a business proposition before you say anything else."
From the shadows she came. She was skinny and her skin was white as snow. She had on a long, elegant black dress that went way below her toes. It had red trimmings and actually looked very nice. She had gray hair and lips as red as her eyes. She gave me a small smile as she started walking foward. She was at least 2 feet taller than me.
"I am Ladydevilmon, ruler of demons and ghosts. I am the most powerful Mega digimon there is, well, since the Dark Masters were destroyed by your friends. Anyways, here is my proposition: Yes, you have joy, lots of it. I can feel it from where I stand and the power your crest gives. But I also feel evil. You have a strong evil in your heart. Join me and you could rule the digital world!"
"Don't listen Becca, she can't keep her promise of that kind of power." Foxinmon stated getting in front of me."
"I know that Foxinmon. I mean, this is so classic. The whole join me and be evil, blah blah blah. So cliché! Don't worry." I stated with a small smile, trying to lighten things up.
"You get the power-a mere human?! HA! No, let me show you..." she trailed and snapped her fingers.
Up came a small black fox with two tails. She had gray in the places Foxinmon had black and white.
"This will be your new digimon, a Demonmon in the form of Foxinmon. And this shall be your crest..." she trailed and got out a black crest. It was the crest of Joy, only the circles were no longer connected.
"What about Foxinmon?!" I asked angrily.
"There's too many of them in the digital world, she'll be destroyed." Ladydevilmon stated waving her hand.
"Hm...let me think about it....NO! GIVE ME MY CREST AND LET ME GO!" I yelled.
"Ooh, wrong answer. Too bad." Ladydevilmon stated and crushed my crest in her hand.
"NO!!" Foxinmon and I screamed as we both stood there mortified.
"DemonFoxinmon.....SICK 'EM!" Ladydevilmon ordered as the demonmon charged for us.
