"Foxinmon digivolve to.....Faeriemon!"
Faeriemon grabbed me up and carried me away from DemonFoxinmon. Unfortunately, DemonFoxinmon had gotten her two tails spinning and was coming towards us.
"Stay here." Faeriemon stated as she set me away from DemonFoxinmon.
"Demonmon digivolve to....DemonFaeriemon!"
"That's not good...." Faeriemon and I said as the same time.
DemonFaeriemon then charged and hit Faeriemon hard. Faeriemon started falling but was able to pick herself back up.
"Faerie Arrow!" she yelled as she shot an arrow at DemonFaeriemon.
DemonFaeriemon ducked and laughed.
"Darkness Engulf!" she yelled and a dark cloud engulfed Faeriemon. Her screams could be heard throughout the castle. She then fell to the ground, part of her wing torn.
"FAERIEMON!" I yelled.
DemonFaeriemon only laughed as started diving in for the kill.
~*Meanwhile*~
The other digi-destined raced for the castle. They eventually landed right in front of it.
"This place is so spooky!!" Mimi whined.
"Who's the head of this castle anyways, Izzy?" Sora asked worried.
"It didn't say." Izzy answered.
"I say we go on in and-" Tai started.
"Wait a minute Tai, we need a plan before we just go storming in there." Matt stated.
"Oh yeah, like what?"
"I don't know...maybe a decoy."
"What kind of decoy?"
"I DON'T KNOW TAI!" Matt yelled angrily.
"SHH!" Sora exclaimed as Skullsatamon's shadow loomed over them.
"I think we should sneak in and try to find Becca without wearing down our digimon." Izzy stated.
"I guess." Tai said sadly.
"Lets go!" Matt whispered as they started walking in the castle.
~*Meanwhile*~
DemonFaeriemon dealt a hard blow to Faeriemon. Faeriemon was just barely moving.
"Get up Faeriemon, get up. Please get up. Don't leave me like Ericka." I whispered, tears running down my cheeks.
"I'll give you one more chance, little one. Join me and I'll spare this pathetic excuse for a digimon, but if you don't-" she trailed and DemonFaeriemon hit Faeriemon, making her scream.
What should I do?! my mind screamed.
I could only stand there and try to decide. Where's Izzy and the others when I need them?!
~*Meanwhile*~
All the digi-destined stopped at the sound of an un-earthly scream.
"Wha-what was that?!" Joe exclaimed shivering.
"I don't know." Matt stated.
"It might be Becca, lets go that way!" Izzy exclaimed pointing in the direction of the scream and running towards it without waiting for the others.
"Is it just me or is Izzy acting strange lately?" Mimi asked dumbly.
The others only rolled their eyes and ran after him.
~*Meanwhile*~
"Well?" Ladydevilmon asked as DemonFaeriemon held an arrow at Faeriemon's throat.
"Don't give in Becca; I'm not worth it. Don't join them, don't let everything we fought against be for nothing. My life is insignificant; I'm just glad I had the joy of knowing you." Faeriemon whispered hoarsely.
Tears filled in my eyes. I didn't know what to do.
Suddenly, Kabuterimon's Electro Shocker sent DemonFaeriemon back.
Kabuterimon leaned down and picked up Faeriemon as the others and their digimon in champion (I think it's champion) forms came in.
Izzy ran up beside me and immediately asked, "Are you ok?"
I only smiled slightly and answered, "Now I am."
"Fools!! Oh well, I can destroy all of you in one quick swipe now!" Ladydevilmon exclaimed happily.
A piercing scream went through the air and Skullsatamon came. With him were many other Demonmon in the forms of the other's champion digimon.
"Let's go!" Tai exclaimed.
"Time to show them they can't take our friend!" Matt yelled.
"Whom we all care for!" Sora added.
"Who has helped us in trouble!" Mimi exclaimed.
"And kept joy alive!" Joe added.
"As well as hope!" T.k. exclaimed.
"Who has cared for us." Kari yelled.
"And kept us in perspective!" Izzy finished and I felt his hand touch mine. "We are the digi-destined and we won't be defeated!" they all exclaimed. All their digimon digi-volved into Ultimate while Agumon and Gabumon digivolved into Mega. Unfortunately, so did the Demonmons. It wasn't very long before all the digimon were on the ground as Faeriemon was.
"It isn't enough!" Joe exclaimed. "We're going to die!!" he added.
"I won't give up that easily!" Tai exclaimed. "Get up Wargreymon!"
"I wish I could help, but Ladydevilmon destroyed my crest. It's my fault we'll lose." I whispered.
"Don't say that," Izzy encouraged taking my hand, "You're not like Joe and I who think on the logical and pestimistic side. You always keep up your optimisim; it's not your fault we lose."
I felt something I hadn't felt since Ericka died inside me. The broken fragments of my crest floated up and glowed light blue. They came together and formed my crest. It glowed so bightly, it was blinding. It slipped into my tag where it stayed glowing.
'I can't believe it,' I thought smiling, 'I feel Joy again. All because of Izzy and Faeriemon's words. I have people who care-I do have a reason to be joyful!'
Suddenly Fareriemon stood up and started glowing.
"Woah, I'm feeling energy..." she trailed. "Faeriemon digivolve to...Angelmon."
All around the room, fighting stopped. Everyone stared at the new digimon.
"Prodigious." Izzy and I whispered together.
"I am Angelmon, ultimate form of Foxinmon. With my Eternal Light and Heaven's Judement, I make my enemies pay for the evil they've done."
DemonFaeriemon could only stare at the blinding light.
"Don't just stand there, digivolve too!" Ladydevilmon ordered.
"I-I can't do that, boss." DemonFaeriemon whispered in awe.
"ETERNAL LIGHT!" Angelmon yelled. A blindlight light filled the room. All the demonmons screamed in pain and dissentigrated. All that was left was DemonFaeriemon, Skullsatamon, and Ladydevilmon.
"Ha! That thing ain't so powerful! It's just a powderpuff with wings! Skullham-"
"HEAVEN'S JUDGEMENT!" Angelmon yelled directing the attack to Skullsatamon and DemonFaeriemon. A white dragon circle around the two, getting faster and faster. It soon became too fast for anyone to follow. Suddenly, lightning shot from inside the circle to the two digimon in it. They both screamed and dissentigrated.
Ladydevilmon stood in shock and withdrew a little in fear.
Angelmon turned to the other digimon and held out her arms. "Heaven's Cure." A white light went over the others and they got up, fully energized.
"Ha-child's play!" she exclaimed.
"I'm sure you know all about it." Angelmon said with a smirk.
"Let's get her!" Tai exclaimed.
"Terra Force!"
"Metal Wolf Claw!"
"Wing Blade!"
"Horn Buster!"
"Flower Cannon!"
"Vulcan's Hammer!"
"Celestial Arrow!"
"Gate of Destiney!"
"Heaven's Judegement!"
All the attacks engulfed her and an un-earthy scream could be heard. When the smoke cleared, all that was left of her was a pile of ash.
"ALL RIGHT!" Everyone exclaimed. All their digimon de-digivolved into their in-training forms.
The digi-destined grabbed their digimon as the castle around them shifted. Suddenly, it dissentigrated and all that was left was a green field.
I finally let go of Izzy's hand and ran over to Cubmon and hugged her closely.
"How do you feel?" I asked while hugging her close.
"GREAT!! THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! CAN WE DO IT AGAIN?!" Cubmon asked with a big grin.
"Not for another millennium." I stated smiling. All around me the other digi-destined were doing the same. I felt that same overwhelming joy I had felt when Faeriemon had digivolved. I felt like I belonged again.
