Here he is, everyone's favorite goggle wearing, big haired leader of the first season of digi-destined. Tai is best described as a little ditzy, but very courageous and caring. There are times when he can be a little insensitive, but hey, all guys his age are at least part of the time. He is a true blue leader. He always looks out for the rest of the digi-destined and tries to keep the group together.
Tai's younger sister is Kari, who's also a digi-destined. Tai watches out for Kari all the time and does whatever it takes for her safety. In one episoid when they were fighting the Dark Masters, Kari gets very sick and Tai starts beating himself up for it. Why you may ask? When he was five (I dunno how old that made Kari), Kari was pretty sick and he was supposed to keep her home. Of course, Tai wanted to go out and play soccer, so he took Kari outside to play. Unfortunately, that made Kari's illness worse and she ended up in the hospital. The thing that really killed Tai is that after she got home, she said this to him, "I'm sorry I can't kick the soccer ball very well Tai. I'm sure you'll never want to play with me again."
Of course, that's what Tai was thinking of and why he was beating himself up. However, Izzy and him found the medicine needed and Kari got better.(YEA!)
Tai's digimon, Agumon, was one of the digimon to digivolve to Mega, meaning Tai and Agumon were really crucial in Season 1. In Season 02, Tai didn't play as big as a role. Sure, Agumon digivolved into Wargreymon again, but none of the older kids, excluding Kari and T.K., really played a big role.
Now, there is one more little aspect of Tai. In the first season, everyone could tell Tai and Sora liked each other! (Think about "Our War Game" where Tai couldn't decide whether to put Love or From on Sora's e-mail.) However, Sora must've got tired waiting for Tai and went with Matt instead. However, even though Tai is hurt, he isn't mad at Matt or Sora (if it happened four years earlier...eh, let's not go into that).
25 years later...
Tai cuts his hair! Yes, that's right, he loses the hair! But his cute son does adopt it. Tai is also a foreign minister of Digimon affairs. Agumon is, of course, right by his side helping.
