The Story

Technically Sailor Pluto appeared in 'Serena times two' with Rini. Pluto is the guardian of time, and she helped Rini travel back in time so that she could get the silver crystal needed to save Neo Queen Serenity. Pluto is inside the Luna ball and only appears to be the size of a fairy but she becomes the same size as the other scouts and appears in episodes.

Some more info

One of the neatest things about Pluto, besides her green hair, is her power. She can conrtol time, which I think, makes her one of the strongest senshi. However, I still think Saturn is most powerful, but there are a million arguments on who is more powerful, so I'll just leave it at that. I think she is one of the most powerful.

Okay, fine, she's really powerful, but where did she come from?

In the manga, she carries the blood of Cronos (father of Zeus an' stuff). She lives in the land between time, the solitary guardian of the door of the underworld. Y'see, the space-time door is off limits to everyone (and I mean EVERYONE..well, supposedly...)and it's Pluto's job to enforce this. But, as with all good stories, everything seems to be just peachy until that pink-haired loveliness Chibi Usa happens upon Pluto, and befriends her.

PLUTO IN THE MANGA | PLUTO IN THE ANIME
There's one question that goes in my mind. What about Setsuna? What is she like? I only know her as Trista myself and that's about it? What's she like? Well, my friend Star had this to say:

Setsuna
She's quite nice, to be frank. She's very quiet and introverted, yet has a kindly side where Chibiusa's concerned. I think of her as a kind of favorite aunt-type. She's cordial and helpful, but she does have that air of sadness about her, too... she's got a conscience. In S, there are some times when you can clearly see that she wants to do the right thing and be loyal to her mission, but she's also somewhat tormented by Usagi and Chibiusa's pleading for the outer senshi to spare Hotaru's life.
Have you ever wondered what race Pluto is supposed to be?
Naturally! Who hasn't? I had a conversation with a friend via e-mail about that... she thought that maybe Pluto could be portrayed as a Latino in North America. I suppose she could be indeed! Personally, I've always thought Pluto was Indian... I can see her wearing a sari and bendi, with hennaed arms and stuff... Sometimes, in certain manga pictures, she looks like an Indian girl. The fact is, Takeuchi-sensei didn't choose to portray Pluto with dark skin for no reason. In mythology, it was said that Pluto had dark skin, too.
Hmm...some things to think about! ;0)
