Sailor V:
Her code name was Sailor V was a story started in 1991 by Naoko Takeuchi. The story was about a 13 year old girl named Aino Minako that was revealed to be the reincarnation of the goddess of love, Venus and the sailor suited fighter, Sailorvenus. Naoko Takeuchi based the main character's personality on that of herself. Minako is ditzy, Tom boyish (in some cases), gets bad grades and is very boy crazy. Artemis is the one who tells Minako she is Sailorvenus. Minako does a flip off the bars in gym class and lands on him. Artemis then follows Minako around for a while and he realizes that she is Sailorvenus. He follows her home and confronts her while she is looking in the mirror. He gives her the Crescent Moon Compact and tells her to transform into Sailorvenus by saying the words "Moon Power Make Up!" She transforms into her Sailor fuku and after her initial shock, dubs herself Sailor V (Yes the V stands for Venus : ) She goes on to fight the evil Dark Agency that is causing evil on the earth and she fights other crime also. The police do not like Sailor V because she takes the law into her own hands by fighting criminals (Like Batman...). After a while, Sailor V meets up with the inner senshi. She reveals herself to be Sailorvenus and also says she is the Moon Princess the inner Senshi are looking for. This is not true however, she just says this to protect the real princesses idenity. The real princess turns out to be Sailormoon

Sailor Venus

Sailor Venus first appeared in Sailormoon manga act number seven. The Sailor Senshi see her and it is eventually explained that she is Sailor V. When she first appears, she is thought that she is the Moon Princess the Inner Senshi have been searching for. She says she is to protect the Princess' true idenity, which is Sailormoon. Sailorvenus plays a big part in the first "season" of the manga (the manga is not set into seasons like the anime, but I am referring to the seasons in the manga as they are arranged in the anime). She is responsible for the first seasons main enemy, Queen Beryl. In the manga she has an item she found on the moon, a sword she can use to fight. Venus is the leader of the inner Senshi and it shows. She is given more respect and attention in the manga than the anime.


Sailorvenus has 4 forms in the manga:
Sailorvenus
Super Sailor Venus
Princess Venus
Sailor Star Venus
(Obviously, Princess Venus is the princess of venus) Sailorvenus gets her Super Power Up in the SuperS season from the human Artemis. Also, Princess Venus is the ruler of the Magellan Castle in the solar system. On a final note, I'd like to clear up a rumor surrounding Sailorvenus of the manga. The rumor is that she and Sailormars are lovers-this is not true. The rumor comes from some manga pictures and the pictures alone. If you translate the Japanese around these pictures, you'll see that they are not in love with one another. The only lesbian Sailor Senshi (not counting the new senshi in Sailor Stars manga) are Uranus and Neptune. Minako is not in love with another female in the anime or the manga.
DEATH
No one only lives once in Sailormoon. Every inner and outer senshi dies at least twice and comes back to life in some wonderful way. People who aren't sailors are not as lucky, but that's another story. Minako has died many times. But before you get resurrected, you have to die. Episode 109, SailormoonS, "died" having her heart crystal taken First series, died fighting Queen Beryl's monsters Star Light Series, Galaxia kills her with some sorta power

All About Sailor Venus


The Story

When Mina lived in England, she found out that she was Sailor V. The only other person who knew this, was her best friend Katrina. Both she and Katrina were in love with the same boy Alan, who was interested in Katrina. However, because Katrina was a good friend, she did not go out with him, as long as Mina liked him. One day a building collapsed with Sailor V trapped inside. All Katrina found of her friend was the ribbon she had once worn in her hair. Now Sailor V was gone forever. She moved to Tokyo, where she became the fifth Sailor scout, Sailor Venus. The rest of the senshi thought she might be the moon princess because of the crescent moon she bore on her forehead. She has her own guardian, a white cat named Artemis. She has her own guardian because she was the leader of the Sailor Scouts in the silver millenium, when there was no Sailor Moon, only the moon princess. As the series progresses, she becomes less serious, and more bubbly like Usagi.

Mina is very friendly, and has an open personality, she lives with her mother and father, and she looks exactly like Serena because on the Moon Kingdom she was used to trick people into believing she was Serena for the princess's safety, all she had to do was to put her hair up in meatballs. Mina was the first scout to be found by her guardian Artemis, but she was the fifth scout to join the others. Mina wasn't able to join them earlier because she lived in England.
